We have been renting space here for over two years. We have been very happy with the location, the facility and the service. Stephen has been keeping this facility in great shape and has been very helpful with everything we asked.

Drawing a blank on his name, but he has a long beard… he was very nice! Answered all of our questions thoroughly and got us a great deal. If only every front desk had someone like him!

**Update: Not only did they respond to my review here, the branch manager also called me. Steve is great to work with and very accommodating. He worked hard to get me a MUCH better rate, which I really appreciate. Steve explained that it’s a month-to-month rental place, so they do periodically raise the rates. BUT you DO have the option to pay in advance as far as you want, which locks you in your current rate for at least that long.** Love the convenience of this place, but don’t believe the prices! They get you to sign with an unbelievably good price, then hike it up exponentially every few months. After moving to a bigger unit last month because I was excited by the price…now I just got a postcard saying my rate is going up by $80 next month!!!

My experience with Extra Space has been a pleasant one. I’ve had a unit here for almost two years, and at one point had a second unit as well. It’s quite easy to drive in to the facility and park. And the same goes for when we were unloading a U-haul during Labor Day weekend, which I thought would be very busy, with the beginning of the month and back to school season - but it wasn’t too busy at all. The temperature inside is also always nice - so no having to deal with it being too hot or cold when hauling stuff. The building is also gated for safety with personalized door codes, and I’ve always felt safe, even as a woman when I’ve gone alone. It’s always been easy to access my unit (I’ve never seen it too busy) and there have always been flat bed carts available to use - which are so, so helpful! And when doing larger moves we’ve been able to use three or so carts at a time (plenty of to go around). Steve and all of the staff have been great and very helpful when needed. It’s always been easy to get in touch with someone - both onsite and on the phone. This location is also great because it is so central - whether you are in Minneapolis, St. Paul, or the surrounding area, it’s a breeze to get to. Overall, if you are looking for a storage option, I’d definitely recommend this Extra Space location :]
