There’s good news and bad news about this facility, where I’ve rented for less than two years. The good news is it’s clean, warm, dry, (appears) secure, convenient … and if you need a staff member or a manager for any reason they’re all friendly and helpful. Today I went to talk to Jack, who was courteous, kind and responsive. The bad news, which is why I approached Jack, is that this company is getting greedy. In less than two years I’ve been hit with four rent increases. I live in a suburb of New York, so presumably Extra Space thinks people don’t mind a little extra today, a little more in five or six months, and so on. Let me tell you — it’s not just annoying and has me wondering if I should just empty my small unit, but it makes me angry. I feel nickel and dimed. Technically you rent month to month, but normal people expect rents to hold for a year. Inflation remains a bit high, yes, but not high enough to justify needlessly irritating your customers. Someone will grab my unit as soon as I leave, but eventually the company will push too far. Lots of competition just down the road, Extra Space. I’d like to have given “facility” and “staff” five stars and “company attitude toward customers” one. So here we are at three.

Super clean facility and there are always carts available to move your stuff. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this facility.
